Kia ora koutou, come and check out what we learnt today with Whaea Zoe.
Below is our intentions and the work of Phoenix and Rayvin. Thank you Whaea Zoe we have learnt so much.

PARAKORE (zero waste)

Kia ora koutou, i tenei rā ka haramai tokorua ngā manuhiri. Ko Matua Matt rāua ko Whaea Vicki.
Ko rāua  mahi i whakaako kia mātou i te ata e pa ana ki te 'Whakahekea', Whakamahia anō', Hangaruatia'. (reduce, reuse, recycle)
I ako mātou ētahi kupu hou, ara konumohe (aluminium), kirihou (plastic), kenerino (steel can), karaehe (glass), pātāra (bottle).

Kei te kōrero a Matua Matt rāua ko Whaea Vicki kia mātou ētahi kupu hou.

 

Anei ētahi taputapu kei roto i te ipu.
Have some videos' of the tamariki using some of the taputapu, but I'm still learning how to upload videos' and add to each blog. If anyone can explain and msg me how to,  I would very much appreciate your help thaks.

Anei tā mātou akomanga hei whakaahua mātou ki te taha a Whaea Vita rāua ko Toby. Ka mau a Phoenix tana mētara koura mo te Ao kua whiwhi a Whaea Vita. Ka mau a Tyler-Rose tana tīhāte, ka mau a Tai-Mikaere tā mātou pukapuka.

Ka haere a Ellisae ki te tutaki kia Whaea Vita, katahi ka tikina tā mātou pukapuka mo ia tamaiti. Tino waimarie mātou.

Kia ora koutou
Every Thursday afternoon we learn how to effectively use ICT using our laptops and Ipads with Matua Dave.  He has taught us how to use Garage Band to make a Jingle for our radio station. We have to select a background music or instrumental and then record ourselves. Once we have saved our Jingle we then can add it to our Tūtarawānanga (Merivale) Radio Station.
Last Thursday 21.03.13 we had Whaea Zoe, and we used the tool Kidpixs'. Check out what Reti Reti and Faith did. Thanks Whaea Zoe our Akomanga enjoyed something different.

SKYPING

Kia ora koutou

Akomanga 2 has learnt to Skype another class room within Tūtarawānanga (Merivale). We were so excited to Skype with Akomanga 6 yesterday. We especially enjoyed talking with them, and trying to answer their questions.

Question: How many different ways can we communicate?

Akomanga 2 - telephone, cellphone, skype, sign, smoke, writing.
